Yeah there's nothing wrong with the thread ffs.

Good start to the fixtures, one early game against the big 4, at home, should be looking at 6 wins at least from the opening 8 (assuming WH game is postponed until later than that, otherwise 7/9). A fast start is vital to launching a decent title challenge.

So have you decided if Rafa actually has any of this money the Americans promised you? I've seen a lot of paper talk about "big" players coming in and last time that happened you got Crouch

Just glanced at the fixtures and there is potential there for a very good start. Something which we just have not done for years

I think a lot of the "drunken sailor" talk is probably to stop people putting up their prices as soon as we get involved so I think the money is genuinely there.

However, the fact we have some money doesn't negate the fact that we are hopeless when it comes to spending it.

It was just after the CL final Rafa came out saying big players, big spend and soon. Now he's had meetings with the board, there was talk of him being unhappy and it's all gone a bit quiet.

Maybe you'll unveil signings out of the blue like United did with Nani and Anderson?
