Dudek considering Real offer

Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek has confirmed he has been offered a deal by Real Madrid.

Dudek is leaving Anfield on a free transfer after becoming frustrated at being second choice to Jose Reina.

Though moving to Real would put the Pole in a similar position behind Iker Casillas, the 34-year-old is considering the Spanish giants' offer.

He admits he is honoured to be wanted by the Primera Liga title hopefuls and revealed parts of the deal have already been agreed.

"I must admit that I have received an offer from one of the greatest clubs in the world, if not the greatest one," said Dudek in the Independent.

"I was able to keep it in the dark for a long time because the first contact was established a dozen or so days ago.

"The offer is an honour for me. I am seriously considering it now.

"A few details have already been agreed upon."
