nick mate - went to see them last night... um, theyre a slightly like mclusky, but i really think mclusky would be miles better... and less emo.

i thought they were very wooden and both support acts are APPALLING. so turn up late.

a few songs i really liked, esp. i am the party which got into the festive fifty a couple of years back, but apart from that i dont think i was really in the mood for hardcore.

that's like so handy. it sounds like something i might like, although i personally don't really enjoy massively things where i haven't heard anything by them before (with the exception of tom vek and when graham coxon arrogantly only played stuff off his new album which had come out literally hours before so i only knew maybe 2 songs). but hey, my mate wants to go and i'm not going to say no, could be fun, beats sitting in wetherspoons before i get ID'd by some 14 year old looking barman like last time

to take the **** one of my friends sat down during the second support act and tried to hook the legs of the people ''''moshing'''' so that they fell over.

i went to the back and sat down. they were awful.

the first support band, energica, had some nice sounds, but they seemed to save all their really bad lyrics for the bits you could hear the lyrics. and the lead singer thought he was the bees knees. it was PURE spinal tap. throughout. "this song is called 'MY DEMISE'" "this song is called "ROOOOOOOOOOADKILLLLLLLLLLL!"

actually, theyre a must-see
