Oh my gosh my days are getting longer. Editors gig was awesome. Didnt stay for all of the Editors after they played the 5 songs id heard first, I was, and still, suffering with a mega cold though so thats my excuse.
But in reality I didnt go for Editors anyway, We Are Scientists really were 'the best'. We got right down the front as it was only just begginning to fill up and was able to get a couple of decent photos. It was really really good, the banter was comical too. There website is also filled with humorous madness, the advice column is always good for a chuckle.
Also got to see most of the Cloud Rooms set who were on first. They were quite impressive.
oh and Supergrass on friday night were amazing - some really class songs and great atmosphere going. Probably wouldn't buy their new album but would easily see them again :p :thup:
Had The Go! Team and The Subways last week, both absolutely top notch but The Go! Team was the most energetic gig i've seen for a long ol time! Ninja just didn't stop moving all night and i love the way all the musicians swap around after every song it's ace! First time i've seen soundchecking for a banjo and a recorder as well!
