As I mentioned on here I was supposed to be seeing Brendan Benson in Brighton on the 15th October with four others. Two mates, a friend of one of those mates, and a friend of that friend.

One mate (from Norwich) says he can't make it.
Mate from where I work, can't afford it now as he is skint (drink money etc) and now the other mate isn't going has dropped out as well and possibly her friend.

So looks like they have four spare tickets.

Do I go on my own? Other mates are not interested.

Tickets are still available through ticketmaster etc, so its not as like I can sell mine on eBay.

If it was a London gig i'd go on my own, but not really sure I can be bothered to drive to Brighton to go to a gig on my own.

Saw Ross Noble last night.

What can I say? He really is the funniest man on the planet, the whole 2 hours we were in stitches, my face still hurts now, was so painful laughing so much.

So much of it was improvised too, if you haven't seen him yet get a ticket ffs.

Saw Brendan Benson last night, mate I went with ended up just standing at the bar at the back and I went to the front. Didn't see him at end of the night but I still really enjoyed myself.

Nothing wrong with going on your own, I just enjoyed myself.

BB put on a very good show, great voice. The support act Ok Go! were also great, they danced to their new single and I was in tears of laughter.

Mark was there too I believe.

Don't think i'll bother with the ordinary boys and nine black alps seems to be sold out ( ) so my next gig will more than likely be The Frames in late November.
