Yup If Fulham go down or Al Fayed gets bored they will be in a Leeds-esqe amount of financial trouble!

If Briatore invests and we get to the premiership then everyone will be happy, we'll get premiership football and he'll get a nice return on his investment whether we stay up or not!

However we all know that a bit of money far from guarentees promotion from the Championship as so many clubs have proved!

I would want us to be far more financially sound before we went up. Promotion this season (or even next) would be awful for us.

I know I'm coming across as a depressive, I'm really Ok chaps, but if we go up before we are financially ready it could be awful for us.

Can't believe I'm even talking about promotion anyway. IF we get taken over then I'd want us to just have a season of building. None of this Leicester type double figure signings please. Slow and steady, otherwise we'll be screwed, again.

Still favouring admin as the end result though

Absolutely spot on about getting on sound financial footing, lets not run before we can walk!

I think we need to keep building the squad as we have been, bringing in players like Camp, Nardiello, Blackstock and Walton. Young promising players who don't cost a fortune, aren't on extortionate wages but can possibly make the step up in class to chase promotion rather than battle at the bottom and eventually be sold for a profit.

I hate us to do what Leicester have done and throw money and big wages at a mishmash of premiership hasbeens, random foreigners and unproven league players going for a premium because they are English. I'm not saying they won't do well as they might, but it's no way to build a conhesive team for the long term IMO.

How's Dan Nardiello doing for you since he joined?

From the brief bits I've seen he looks OK. I'm still a bit mystified as to why we've actually signed him, but at least it means we aren't short of strikers this season.

Nardiello has looked OK from the brief glimpses I’ve seen from him (30 minutes versus Fulham and highlights from Bristol City). He really needs to stake his claim now while Sahar and Jones are injured though.

Blackstock is undisputed number 1 choice, Sahar looks a bit tasty and Nygard and Jones offer a more physical option, so I would guess that Nardiello will provide backup to Blackstock and Sahar and may find his options limited if they both stay fit and scoring.

It'll be Fulham Park Rangers by 2020.

No chance the fans would ever accept this...even if imminent doom is on the horizon. Probably.
