Very worried now, I was hoping for 6-7 points from our run of games against Blackpool, Palace and Scunthorpe and was hoping that Stoke was a blip but I think we have dug ourselves in deep trouble by not only dropping points but gifting them to fellow relegation strugglers…

6 games to go before transfer window opens and with only 2 home games and tough away fixtures:

Scunthorpe away
Burnley away
Wolverhampton home
Colchester home
Plymouth away
Watford away

I can’t see us picking up more then 7 points from a possible 18 which probably won’t even get us off the bottom of the table. I’m just praying that the club have a few quality defenders, a 20 goal a season striker plus Vine, Mancienne and Hogan Ephraim all poised to join on January 1st…

I also can't help but feel we'd have been better off leaving Harford in charge when we missed out on Guidolin.

We were excellent last night in the first half, the second we were awful, just awful.

Once again the oppo came at us with a bit of muscle and we rolled over.
Buzasky was rubbish and for some reason was playing behind Mikele in the defensive role.
You also have to question Gigi's tactics when in the first half we were carving their defence apart with strong running football to the second half where we didn't have a shot on goal and were just pumping the ball forward.
Also when we needed to get the equaliser, he took off Buzasky and replaced him with Bolder and left Ainsworth on the sidelines looking bemused.

In terms of new players we need the following:

Left Back
Centre Back
Right Wing
Centre Forward x 2 (both weighing over 12 Stone and 5'10" in height)

There's a rumour that you've agreed to sign Gavin Mahon from Watford for £150K

If that's true then you have brought a pretty decent Championship midfielder. As long as he plays alongside someone creative with some pace then he should do well for you.

Also Daryl Murphy from Sunderland for £2M.
At least then you'll have a striker who doesn't have to wade through puddles.

Know nothing about Murphy at all. Other than I've just released him from Sunderlan team on 01/02

Always liked Mahon though. Could certainly do a job for us.

What we need are some of the top Div 1 and 2 players who would be furthering their careers coming to us, and thus would bring drive and desire to win with them. Rather than washed up/ not good enough ex Prem and Championship players who are just going to wallow around in mediocrity with just another boss paying their wages.

Would fully agree. Also why I wanted a good young manager who was in the lower divisions. Mahon will fill a spot, but young players who want to prove themselves are needed. Could be higher division with the likes of Mancienne, but some hungry players from lower down I have no issue with at all.
