Well as said, I haven't seen a comment from anyone of any note (unless I've missed one), so other than the Mail and Times linking it, there really isn't much info to go on.

Plus the club is for sale, plus Gio is a bit of a fibber.

I'd love to be proved wrong, really would, but I can't see this happening at all.
