I'll admit that i was wrong. I didn't realise that you rejected bids for Cook.
Anyway good luck

I'd sure I heard the Sahar is looking to be back within 2 weeks as he is making a very quick recovery?
I wouldn't want to sell Dexter either, i love the guy and think he can mature in a real class act in the Andy Johnson mould (great pace and workrate). However if the takeover talk is all guff selling him would be the right call to avoid admin.
Again i'd only sell him for his worth, £750K would probably not be enough to stave off admin and with no Dexter and -10 we would be dead and buried.
I'm hoping to see a lot more from Nardiello (it was a nice flick of his which set up the chance when Moore hit the post) and Ray Jones could still come good when he recovers from his foot injury.

We were absolute guff on Saturday.
Second to every ball and I can't remember a single successful foray down either wing.
Stewart had an unfortunate (read rubbish) game as did our midfield who were out muscled by a more committed team.
Must do better.

Would put money on Sahar not being match fit for a month. Really not the kind of injury you want to rush back from, and I'm sure Chelsea will be keeping a close eye on how we behave.
I think Stewart's pap btw. But that's only from the little I've seen of him.

Just seen your post about the Saints game.
If you're in town drop me a line.
I live 2 minutes walk away from the Goldhawk Pub so can easily meet up for a beer beforehand.

Rep Power: 0 | Boards resigned ahead of new investment on the offish!
This looks like a significant development either way and certainly seems to point towards the new investment being genuine!
Rowlands simply MUST play on the wing, he is so much more dangerous there! Also wouldn't mind seeing Bailey back in the middle, he may lack quality but he is quick and strong in the tackle.
Stewart is only good at one thing making recovery tackles, usually from his own mistakes! Cullip and Mancienne next week please, plus Barker is back and Timkosa is available which will hopefully be more solid.

Gio still Chairman
Baffled. But we'll see. At least something seems to be happening anyway.
I'd agree with Cullip and Mancienne. Cullip lacking in pace but when the mistakes ratio drops 90% from Stewarts then it becomes a no-brainer.
No idea about the midfield. Bereft of options really.

Ephraim (sp) didn't look too bad.
He was eager to get about the park and put crosses into the box.
But his size and youth will play a huge part on how good he really can be.
As long as we're not going to be tied to Panama by the end of the week, then I think things could be looking up.....
Cullip and Mancienne are soooo much better than Stewart. Although I reckon Rehman could also do a job there.
We need fullbacks who can overlap, in fact anyone who can cross the ball beyond the head of the first defender would help.
