I'd say pay off your credit card but i'm considering buying either a laptop hdtv or ps3 when i get paid on friday rather than pay anything off my credit card so probably not the best person to advise you.

Buy it.

Im terrible for impulse gadget buying, just ordered a 40inch LCD when a 20inch monitor would have done the job for what Im planning.

It's great having all those comforts though, im notorious for all my gadgets though, but my mates dont really try to stop me, in fact they encourage me into splashing on the credit card and running up big bills, an example was when was in belfast, and i drove up, with them being to chicken to drive up north, anyway they were trying to egg me into buying a nintendo wii as i said i was interested in getting one, lucky though i had just realised the error of my ways and decided i wasnt gonna do any impulse buying.

yeah life is for living alright, but living as in going for a few pints etc the weekend, not splashing cash on something you already have, even if its not a funky touch one,and simply a 30 gig video, just be thankful you dont have a big clunk like this

trust me, if i can give the impulse buying, or even reduce it to "oh i want mario galaxy, i'll save the money up for it over the next few weeks" rather then "im gonna just go buy it now and stick it on my card", then anyone can.

i'm heavly in debt now, but thats another story.

Buy it and then listen to it all the time when she's around. Maybe do a bit of singing along when she's watching telly.

I have a similar issue with buying computer parts all the time. Have gone through 3 gfx cards in the past 6 months. Every time I buy something, I'm thinking "hmmm, what can I upgrade next? I know! I need another GB of RAM!!".

So geeky I know but I like mucking about with computers (and other gadgets) so it's kind of a hobby. Had to stop myself buying a Wii on several occasions too. Would like an iPod touch now that you mention it.. :creditcardsmiley:

tbf it's an mp3 player, don't see why you need to call it an ipod.

I bought one and don't use any of the features really. Just sits in my pocket when I'm on the train, just as my old nano did. Kind of a waste of money

all those of you who considered buying a wii should have done so as you could have sold it on ebay for about 50% more than you paid for it!
