Yeah the Sept Tapani patch.
What Other installer? I noticed there was something on the forums but that was only for people whos game crashed during May. Mine wont even start a new game.

I'm at work, so don;t know the file name, but when you open up the folder to use the Tapani patch, there is another one in there as well. The details are in the forum as you say, but I had trouble starting a game initially, used that other installer, and haven't had a single error since.

you have to use the tapani thing then run setup.exe or whatever it is called dont you?

I'll do the same when I get back and post the file name, but all the instructions are on the forum.
Essentially, if people read the forums they'll find an answer to pretty much every problem. It's a good community and anything that gets reported gets some kind of solution (even if it's "don't use the italian league atm").

Yeah Raf, something like that, whatever the other installer is in that folder anyway.
I'm not running the Italian league, just French, English and a few randoms, but haven't had a single error since I did all that.

back to my game, which i know you are all thrilled with, after seeling kuyt for 18.75m picked up hunterleer (sp) for £5 
also got 10.75 or something ridiculous for Arbeloa who was worth 2.75 and had hardly played. not sure if this is because he was part of my CL winning team or what, he is maybe worth 5 or so looking at his stats.
anyone know any good young D R/L (23 or lower at start of game)?

yeah i do, 33yr old Finnan my only rb at the moment. Got Insua and Agger as back up at LB, so would be happy with a D R/C too (don't like having more than one player that can only play in the same 1 position)
