It's hardly commonplace to assume someone is a serial killer, is it? There's also the fact he saw Dexter at a meeting, which folks don't tend to go to unless they are a drug addict. Look at it from Doakes' pov. He knows Dexter is secretive, gets extremely defensive if someone pokes into his personal life, seems distant unconnected and unemotional. All fit the drug addiction story.

Not everyone shows "signs" either, depends on usage, personality, etc.....
Then again Doakes saw Dexter acting fishy in the whole ice truck killer thing, as was as never linking him from the start.

Dexter V Doakes this week was fb

You mean at the end? I think it was to show 'she gets what she wants'.

Yeah, I think it was Dexter beginning to realise that Lila will go to any lengths she considers necessary to get what she wants.

Anyone else wishing for Deb to just pounce on naked Lila in the kitchen?

Yup, but dexter's course of action in getting doakes suspended was a bad move, it now leaves doakes with the freedom to hunt dexter full time. You know what they say, "keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer", a mistake here on dexter's part.

The battle between these two has just got a whole lot more interesting. Doakes is an animal, his gonna step up his chase of dexter

*not looking above*

Just finished reading the three books. I can see that they and the series are taking very different paths.

He had to get him suspended to stop him getting access to the case files on his past.

Dark Passenger returns \o/

So, Doakes to die? Either that or fitted up for being the BHB? Cannot see any other way for his character to progress. Stuff with Deb and Lundie just plain wrong, shouldn't be allowed. Not sure I understand fully the reactions of the cops, you'd think they've never heard of crooked cops, etc......

crooked cops one thing, seriel killer cops another tbh

That was ffffffbbb though, Dexter such an underrated show.

I reckon Doakes will be framed by Dexter, its the only real way you can see dexter coming out of this. And anyone who misses a 200k a year job interview to break into someone house deserves to be jailed.

with Californication drawing to a close, I might as well start looking at Dexter. This leaves me occupied though with Journeyman, Heroes, House

have to check out Chuck and Pushing Daisies too, any good those?
