Nup, we're still officially the Socceroos (just looked it up on the FFA website).
Houllier has always asked for too much money. He'd maintain his demand, knowing that as the days tick down towards qualification kicks off, the FFA would become more desperate.

houllier would've been a sensational appointment as the technical director - not really sold on the idea of him taking charge of the senior side though.
