warden assisted flats?
are these old folks homes or what?
on some of teh flat adverts they say warden assited retirement home but that others say nothign about retirement or old folks homes.
so do the two go togehter?

They're semi-old people's homes. Everyone has their own flat and is supposedly self-sufficient but there are often communal facilities (e.g. laundry) and someone is employed as a warden living in one of the flats to help out if needs be.
It might not be the elderly though: it could be there are partly disabled residents, or those with learning difficulties.
