My team's <STRIKE>main</STRIKE> only focus is on starting pitchers. We don't both bother with relief, or indeed batting.

Hate to say it, but the Yankees really didn't improve themselves all that much. Best thing that happened was getting rid of Randy Johnson and his gopher. They make the playoffs, but not the Series.
Looks like the Mets' year, if Pedro comes back in time healthy.
Lou Piniella makes the Cubs interesting and combative. Almost, but no cigar.
Red Sox cruise along in first place of the AL East until one of their key older players suddenly yells, "OOOWWW!!!" and the announcer says, "Oh, that doesn't look good."
