Bah, decent my arse. He's as culpable as anyone for the disaster that was last year. If there's anything more irritating than a team taking it's a team taking with some reserve putting up decent numbers so everyone starts talking about him. Bah.

Possibly harsh there, tbf.

DeRosa got so much flak when Rangers signed him, but tbf he wasn't that bad for us in the end.

When I say "taking", I of course mean "tanking".

Here are my useless predictions yet again this year:
Division Winners
AL East: Red Sox
AL Central: Detroit with Cleveland coming on fast
AL West: California Angels (I don't care what the owner calls them now)
AL Wild Card: Yankees

NL East: Phillies
NL Central: the Brewers! but probably with about 84 wins
NL West: Dodgers
NL Wild Card: Braves or Diamondbacks sneak in because the central division all beat each other up

World Series: Red Sox over Dodgers in 6

AL MVP: A-Rod
NL MVP: Ryan Howard

AL Cy Young: Johan Santana
NL Cy Young: Roy Oswalt (Zambrano could win if the Cubs stay in the race)

AL ROY: Delmon Young of Tampa Bay or maybe Alex Gordon of KC

I know I don't get a vote, and I love the Sox, but I don't favor giving it to veteran foreign players like Dice-K
NL ROY: wide open field, but I'll say Kevin Kouzmanoff of San Diego
