As for face offs, i pull the stick back as the ref drops it, no idea if thats right or not.

Can win a faceoff in any direction really, but most of the time just direct the stick towards the player behind your taker (so if you're shooting down this is up, and vice-versa). Timing's easy, once you've done a few you know when the official drops the puck, even easier this year as they've dropped one style where the ref would fake a drop then do it. I occasionally like to win it to a side man in my own end if he's not got a direct opponent to bring the puck out behind my own net with a pass to the usual behind recipient.

Argh, hella frustrating night, lost 4-2 to muzza and 3-2 in OT to bazry, I must've had 10 clear breakaways combined and took just one with Gaustad, if I took half of them I'm winning both games, but I just didn't click tonight, usually really good at them but fingers and thumbs

Bazry came back from 0-2 down with 7 mins left as well, things went to pot for me, my players just refused to cover the slot and kept skating away, idiots. I should've at least drawn both, and lost them, but can't complain, stole wins the other nights. At least the league will be competitive.

Both goalies were solid in our game Phil :thup: was good end to end stuff, I swear Roy was in the crease for your first goal though!
