*Jordan* Clips Reds for Cycle!
Andy *Jordan* of the Houston Astros touched all the bases today in the 9-4 victory over Cincinnati, hitting for the cycle. He teed off on Reds pitching for a single, double, triple and a home run.
The feat is rare in baseball as it requires a game of no fewer than four hits and the unusual combination of a home run, which requires a batter to hit for some power, and a triple, which requires a batter to have both speed on the basepaths and a favorable fall of the ball.
"The hardest part was the triple," confessed *Jordan*, "A lot has to go right for you to get a triple. It is real easy to get greedy trying to stretch a double and get thrown out. It's really hard to get a three-bagger."
He finished his special day with 4 hits in 4 at-bats and a place in the record book.
A. *Jordan* singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off J. Verlander in the 5th, walked in the 7th and tripled in the 9th.

I've just been able to scrape together some good years and stayed healthy and gotten there."
