The 2007 Major League Baseball amateur draft will be conducted today. The cream of the crop in amateur baseball circles will be plucked by the baseball hierarchy. Diamond journalists and experts say these ten names are at the top of the first-year player shopping list:


1. Michael Danger *North*, 19 year-old right fielder out of college.
2. Sam *Bouchard*, 19 year-old third baseman out of high-school.
3. Gary *Toner*, 19 year-old center fielder out of college.
4. Johnny *Danger*, 19 year-old third baseman out of high-school.
5. Jonno *Blood*, 19 year-old second baseman out of college.
