Yeah so i know about the XBox thread where everybody is having orgasms over hit but is the multiplayer on the PC as good as it is on the xbox?

I want to get another multiplayer game apart Team Fortress which i am getting into it now and don't know whether i should chose the CoD way or not.

its awesome.

only difference is that there is no prestige so once you reach rank 55 thats it.

PC of course can support more player so several servers of 50+ whereas consoles are restricted to 18 i think. I could be wrong on that one though

In one word "Yes". I shall be playing most of tonight to get better at the game.

Anyone else got it for the PC be playing later on?

After a shaky start, I really like it now. Some of the maps are a bit small so it turns into a bit of a frag-fest with little or no thought applied but the game modes are all pretty fun and the rank system has good mileage.

Very pleased with both single player (which is great too) and the multiplayer aspects after the disappointment that was Crysis.

Not played it on the Xbox so i can't really compare the two, but got it for the PC and its brilliant. Well worth buying.

I might be up for some online fun later on if anyone else is around. Only a maybe though.

Single player is very good but certainly on the short side, so if your gonna buy it for single player alone, i dunno if i'd bother.

yeah, i'm not a fan of lots of player tbh, you just end up getting killed constantly no matter how good you are. Its a total mish mash. 60 player shipment is absolutely ridiculus

i tend to stick to 32 player maps all the time. Good balance

At last a COD4 PC thread

Most players on one server ive been on has been 40 I think, never tried more.

We need a list of everyone, so we can have as much fun as the xbox crew!
