The two Scottish ties should be crackers

Do they still have the 12 foreign players rule in the league?
Just seem to be adding to the foreign players every year. Also, where has Matuzalem gone?
They've changed it so that its now only 8 foreigners allowed in the team + a $15000 fine for each one (and this'll likely go down to 5 allowed soon). Its a good thing, since too many crap foreigners were getting through </BLOCKQUOTE>

7, not 8. And "on the pitch at the same time".

And Castillo won't be playing a striker at Shakhtar - he'll be a AMC. Gladkyj and Lucarelli upfront

A few good draws for the Eastern teams, Shakhtar and Kiev should find it relatively easy whilst as previously said, the Celtic v Spartak game should be a cracker!

Anyone got any ideas of a 'shock' result from any of these games?

Steaua have basically got a walkover

Lazio - Dinamo Bucharest is one to keep a very close eye on, chance of an upset there. Lazio are certainly very beatable

He stayed at Atlético Paranaense for 4 months or so in the first semester in 2006.

There was a rumor he was dating a Brazilian woman, so his wife supposely got furious and he had to return to Europe. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Yep, his wife and kids wouldnt move to either Partizan or Brazil with him so he always had that excuse.
I was surprised to see him move to Slazburg in the first place, but alot of money was involved.
Also surprised he didnt leave sooner, as I think he was linked with manager jobs (including the German iirc). Also thought that Trap might have been keeping the managers seat warm for him.

Replace at Salzburg by another German legend in Thomas Link, who just retired from playing at Salzburg.

This doesnt really fit into the Eatern European thread so sorry if its a bit pointless.
