So Shakhtar have a front line of Castillo and Lucarelli to assualt the champions league. Awesome.

Do they still have the 12 foreign players rule in the league?
Just seem to be adding to the foreign players every year. Also, where has Matuzalem gone?

They've changed it so that its now only 8 foreigners allowed in the team + a $15000 fine for each one (and this'll likely go down to 5 allowed soon). Its a good thing, since too many crap foreigners were getting through

Is that the one with the amazing looping own goal in the 90th minute? </BLOCKQUOTE>

Yep, managed to find it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbdKnYlKhWM. Made it 2-2 (4-3) in the last minute of the game and took them to the final

Hope one of these teams goes on a solid CL run, knocking out a few big clubs on the way. Making Eastern European football more attractive to potential big stars would be awesome.

So come on Shakhtar.

It would probably be Shakhtar, Dynamo or CSKA on that run. Its going to happen sooner or later, Shakhtar were 30 seconds away from putting out Sevilla last year

Astana down 1-0 to Rosenborg

The game isn't televised here because Astana was ****ed of that their away game wasn't moved, so they canceled the deal for this game.
Surely they can't do that?

1-0 to Rosenborg. Shakhtar could do really well this year I think, Castillo and Lucarelli up front is a huge improvement on Aghahowa
