| Wrong way round with the seeding, they've just scraped it this year and last. Will probably be the weakest of the seeded teams there
If they make it to the 3QR that is, they just lost 1-0 to Tampere United Quote: |
Come on the Polish clubs!
| Legia already kicked out :thdn:

Don't think UEFA should be backing down here tbh. The only way fans will stop doing this is if the side is directly punished, not some of these petty fines - best way to screw the fans is to not let them have the satisfaction of European football.
| Think its a bit harsh to ban them from Europe altogether, worse has been done by bigger, richer clubs in recent times with limited punishments, every club has idiot fans. Denmark aren't getting chucked out qualifying for example. They probably deserve to play close doors matches for a while though

Rosenborg to win, but I expect a struggle. Might come down to just one goal. How are Rosenborg doing this year?
| Rosenborg are in the middle of the table, 10 points behind Brann, so another title seems unlikely.
They do however have heaps and heaps of continental experience, as there are not many clubs who have played in the CL more seasons

OTF Fact of the Day™: Partizan Beograd are the only side to eliminate FC Groningen from (genuine) European competition more than once: in last year's UEFA Cup 1st round, and in the 1989/90 Cup Winners' Cup second round.

Legia is my favourite club in Poland (it's a family thing- my grandad worked for them), but their fans are mostly violent idiots and maybe this will learn them something

Partizan's stadium is quiet the kip, Red Star's is much nicer, hence why I brought Red Star beer coasters and are now my offical favourite Serbian team.

| Agree, my favourite Balkan team. Plus Red Star normally play some great football, pity they have to sell all their best players

Levski were dire today, and Tomashic got injured so they may not have any fit centre-backs next week. They still haven't brought in a decent powerful striker either, and playing Domovchiiski up fornt on his own won't work in Europe; he's too lightweight.
They'll beat Tampere next week, but the risk is that the Finns will get an away goal due to Levski's injured defence.
And Red Star are great, the 1990 team was just amazing, some of the best counter-attacking football I've ever seen, especially in the Bayern games, and 7 or 8 players who went on to win championships in Italy, Spain, Germany or France with other clubs. Ajax in 95 the only comparable generation.
