Iirc, it was reported that Loko wanted £10m each for Ivanovic and Biljaletdinov (or for the pair, I forget).
Can't really see the teams interested spending that much tbh.

| What they want and what they really are ready to sell for are different things |

RE Arshavin, would be nice to see if he could make it at one of the big teams/big leagues but I would also love him to stay, would only make the league stronger, progress etc.
| Rumour at the moment is that he'll stay if Advocaat signs a new contract, which is 50/50 at the moment as he has an offer to coach the Australian team.
Hope they both stay, and Zenit buy some decent defenders for the Champions League next season.

The Ukrainian Vyscha Liga (Premier Division) is transforming into the Ukrainian Premier Ligue starting next season. All in all it means more power for club owners, more and a lot better TV coverage, better pitches, etc.
Have to admit our football is moving up little by little.
Now to wait for Dynamo to sort themselves out - and it will be fb

How's Tymoschuk done for Zenit this season by the way?
He was my favorite player at Shakhtar.
Erik Hagen must be at least 70 now.

| Was the best player of the season in the Russian League by the Sport-Express ratings

Awesome, he was the reason why I jumped on the Zenit bandwagon in the first place.

| Could be waiting a while for that last one though, the club needs an overhaul and a new direction, it's still stuck in the shadow of Lobanovskiy.
If they combines the Ukrainian and Russian leagues again (which will probably never happen), it would be one of the most competetive in Europe.

| Totally true about the overhaul. But it has been promised for this winter. And unless Luzhnyj as manager wins vs Roma and Sporting (which is basically impossible at the moment) a foreign manager is coming in. And I hope he clears the team from the trash playing at the moment. The only other alternative is Blokhin taking over as manager - and he doesn't work by Lobanovskiy's methods.
Already rumours about El-Kaddouri moving West in winter for 3M UK pounds, with a few French clubs and Reading interested. Will be a brilliant sale if it happens.
The club already hired Rezo Chokhonelidze as Director of Football, and he worked in AC Milan for the last 10 or so years. And that most likely means the people like Burjak, Sabo, Bazilevic, etc who have been working at the club's helm for the last 10-20 years are finally getting the sack. So an overhaul is close *hoping*
And the merge with Russians really has 0% chance of happening.

I see Blokhin taking over at some point at Dynamo, perhaps after the end of Euro 2012, it's a natural choice. But you are right, next couch should be a high profile foreign one as even though Luzhnyi beat Shakhtar, I don't see him as someone who will carry out th overhall as required at the moment.
You never know about the merge in the long term to be honest, it's the next natural step in European football at the moment. There's already concrete talk of a Austria-Swiss league, Belgium-Holland etc.
