So Astana has been really good?
They're facing Rosenborg in the Champions League qualifiers, so who are the strongest?
Rosenborg have been very unstable, but at their best they are the best in Norway.

The three letter acronym for Hungary is SO offensive.
Mon Vladivostok making european competition, that'd be brilliant.

Astana are pretty decent and i'd be surprised if Rosenborg, who've just sold another player manage to win there. Because Kazakhstan moved from AFC to UEFA, their ranking is far too low at the moment as they had to start at 0. Most of the top teams are ok ish, Tobol just won one of the Intertoto cups for example
Rosenborg to win, but I expect a struggle. Might come down to just one goal. How are Rosenborg doing this year?

Shakhtar have brought really big again then, Castillo should be a great buy. Worth keeping an eye on in the Champs League this year

Great thread, always shown an interest in Eastern European football. Amazed at the money Shakhtar have spent again, hopefully they'll get a fair draw so they make it into the Group Stage of the CL.
Also can't believe Bojinov might be coming to the Prem. Madness!

| So close last year for Luch, nearly made the Intertoto. Unsurprisingly their home record is great and they are terrible away
Would be the ultimate European away day
