Cobreloa is one of the most famous Chilean teams, they reached two Libertadores final (one of them against Flamengo in 1981), they came from nowhere in the late 1970s to become a very strong team.
They are from Calama, in the Atacama desert.

Yes, it was them.
Colo Colo also had a major crisis a few years ago, but they got over it (they sold shares in the stock market in order to do so).
