Try to explain the whole format (including the co-efficients thing) of the ECL and the UEFA Cup to a South American to see you in Europe have even more complicated tournaments.

What makes them even more complicated is that a team may start the season playing the CL and then be relegated to the UEFA Cup. Luckily, few people in South America care about the UEFA Cup and most only follow the CL from the group stage onwards, so they miss the most complicated parts of these tournaments.
By the way, DC United will enter this tournament in the Round of 16.
Yeah the team that finishes 3rd (in CL group) drops into the Uefa Cup, after they have played their group stage (I think). I'm no Uefa cup expert by any means because Man Utd don't play there
Also people over here don't really care too much about the Uefa Cup, just the CL mainly (unless their team is in Uefa Cup).
The stadium is pretty empty, which is hardly a surprise. Audax Italiano is not a very popular team, and as like the Euros regarding the UEFA Cup, people in SA don't care much about Copa Sudamericana.

8 Brazilian teams
Audax not so cool, i like Cobreloa... they seem to have a nice youth set up
The 8 Brazilian teams will be reduced to 4 teams for the Round of 16, and these 4 teams will play against 4 Argentine teams (out of 6 Argentine teams, 2 of them will be eliminated before the Round of 16).
