Hopefully we'll learn from past mistakes and not hand him a large long contract. a year with an option for a further year would be sensible to me.

thing is, does this confirm Rad is off? With Dickov to be Rooney's backup, and I'm assuming some target-man type will be brought it as well?

Was well thought of at Chelsea where he helped them get out of financial hassles and similar at Leeds ... is there something going on at Everton financially that needs his 'expertise' or is he gonna do a regular CEO job which doesn't involce him bailing a club out of debt for once !?
