Quote of the weekend from Romario: ''To be honest, I wasn't expecting the opposition to be of such a high level.''

He is an idiot. He was expecting the USL to be like amateur football. So, he would easily reach his 1000th goal.

When he was still playing in Brazil, didn't his team play some random amateur German team to help his tally?

maybe idiotic. but not uncommon tbh. I'm sure FC Miami's owners figured a couple big-name signings would guarantee easy wins as well.

The match was canceled when it turned out that it was a team of veterans.

I wonder why they didn't sign Romário.

I have my own personal soccer news

state championship tomorrow, my top-ranked Pace Knights are hosting the Cinderella GAC Spartans, who have rode a wave of luck and their U-18 national team player, Sam Arthur, to the final.

if I post again, we will have won.
