Yes, in between Ashley's strategic and operational rehash, and Allardyce's taking complete control of the backroom staff, there really won't be much for Freddie to decide.

Freddy will retire in a year IMO, he is quite ill atm, he has a broken rib & phenomonia (sp?) He also aint getting any younger, i can see him retiring soon.

The deal he struck with Ashley is supposed to be him staying as chairman for 5 years, Michael. He may well bail out before then of course. Either way, he's pretty much toothless now.

I'm disapointed that we paid the extra 300k for the Barton move. He's a great player and all, but I think we've been weak in giving into city so easily.
Shame about losing the lad who went to Chelsea as well. I don't know anything about this Rozenthal, what do people know about him?
