Well, keeping expectations in check more like.
No point in getting carried away, he went up and down a couple of times with Bolton whilst building their side and paying off debts gradually.

He'd finish above one of them maybe. It's also possible he could have captured a cup at some point. There's not much point in speculating though.

Asmodeus, if you despise us now and have nothing constuctive at all to add then why bother post in here?

Im a bit miffed we had to pay the extra £300k to secure Barton but I guess it stops a lot of the agro. Shame as well about Ben Haim but you can't blame him for wanting champions league football.

Sure Sam has another few targets that may be more realistic

Allardyce is a pretty imposing character, by backroom guys i meant the technical lot of which Bolton had alot, IT types to Physio specialist types
