I have to say I'm with BG on this one too, but like he said lets leave it now...Roeder has far too many pages devoted to him now.

Closing this can of worms I would say that it would be great to see him in the championship, I would rate him higher than Neil Warnock anyway.

Anyone going to any of the pre-season friendlies, btw ? I'm casting an eye on the Carlisle game (21st July) - but it'll depend on finances and whether there are tickets available.

I also see Sultana (Setanta) Sports have snapped up the rights to screen some of the friendlies, namely Celtic, Juventus and Sampdoria. Any idea how much they are charging ?

I haven't got Sky but got a freeview box, so tempted to get Sentana. I think it's £15 a month (was a cheaper offer, but only just started back at work), I think they have an offer on of buy one month get one month free.

Worth checking out I suppose, especially for four pre-season games.

Just reading on Newcastle Online. Today's NoTW is linking us with a move for Raul and Deco. There is probably no truth in it what-so-ever as there are no quotes involved to suggest this. Basically it's their usual lazy journalism using what Chris Mort said the other day (about big signings) and linking us to a couple of big names.
