On Roeders signings (if he did actually make any of these of course).

Martins - fb (if he stays and resigns, I think I will fall in love with him)
Sibz - fffffffb (for how much we paid this stunned just about everyone in the Prem on just how well he did)
Duff - Still undecided
Bernard - We needed a back up so can't really complain too much.
Sirnicek - Don't get me started on that kunt again.

I actually thought Roeder was a decent boss but nowhere near good enough for a top Prem side.

Lets not forget the fantastic job he did taking over from Souness (Uefa Cup + winning the intertoto cup) and if he did make them he did well with the signings I think. Just a shame its the same as before where more is spent going forward and not looking back.

Its obvious Sam is way above his level so he really shouldnt have embarrassed himself in that way.

Can't believe how loved Sibierski was at Newcastle, we detested him

None of Roeder's signings indicated any kind of long term strategy; everyone was either a stop-gap or unnecessary opportunism. He got lucky with Sibi, Martins is decent (though overrated) and every other signing was a failure. At least with Allardyce he clearly has a view of what he wants the team to be.

Queudrue: didn't even realize there were any rumours. Know hardly anything about him.

My problem with Roeder’s signings, was that they never seemed to be part of any scouting or long term plan to sign them. Spurs tracked Berbatov for a while and made sure they had him all wrapped up before the window opened while Liverpool were watching Kuyt at the world cup and making enquiries.

Roeder on the other hand kept biding his time ‘waiting until the right moment’ then just rushed out and bought whoever was available.

Lets be fair, I mean if you think how bad the team was Big Sam has taken over it was even worse when Roeder took over.

There was many stop gaps but he had alot of Fires to put out really.

Hopefully the standard of managers like Souness wont be coming to us anymore with Mike taking over.

Yeah the defence being one of them. Still didn’t stop him spending £5m on Duff and bringing in Bernard on a free though.

Yes, but he had a fair amount of time to make a plan for putting those fires out (more than Big Sam has had) and he still seemed to panic at the end of the transfer window and buy whoever was available at the time. He didn't have any sort of long-term plan to improve the team as a whole.

As we all know Newcastle dont have scouts it seems.

Trust me when I say Bug Sam >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>. Roeder Rat.

Just dont jump on the bandwagon and say he was completely the worst thing to ever happen to Newcastle.
