Kenny - check out the AV Forums on this. There has been a lot of discussion on the types of panels used by Samsung and it is claimed that some of these panels are inferior.

I have a Samsung 32" and the picture quality is stunning, even on standard definition. If your picture quality is poor, there may be other causes other than the commections.

Is this tv really worth £300 more than this tv?

I would just like to say thanks to scott for pointing me in the direction of this panasonic it is utterly uttery fantastic the picture on 1080p things like Blu Ray and Virtua Tennis for the PS3 is abosolutely mind blowing and DVD are ace and even SD is ace on it.

Just need a good (but cheap) surround sound set to go with it now.

John, was a site called savastore but they don't seem to stock Panasonic tvs anymore

Phil, went for the PTAX100 720p projector. As for screen, decided to mix some grey paint up and paint the wall instead as I like being able to vary my screen size for any given situation.

How much do you have to spend? Dont forget you need an amp as well.
