The only difference i can see with the R7 and R8 is the amount of HDMI ports.

Excuse my ignorance, but is it possible to get a 32" screen that will display a native 1080p. I'm thinking of getting a ps3 and a new screen and would obviously like to make the most of it.

| I just presumed the actual screen would be of a better quality as well, haven't looked properly yet, going to soon, probably in a few weeks.

Cheeky thing is, at that size you won't notice much difference between 1080i and 1080p. Worth it if it's actually any good as a PC monitor.

Sorry, yeah, i meant the films. i was also thinking along the lines of being 'future proof' for a couple of years aswell.
I'll perhaps do a bit of research then come back |

1080p not worth bothering with on a 32" screen. You'd have to sit about 2' away from it to tell any difference from a 720p set. Save your money dude.
