I am looking for a 32" tv. At the moment I am considering one of these three (apologies for not linking but I don't know how to do them how to do them)
1,Sony KDL32S2530 (around £550)
2,panasonic TX32LXD70 (around £650)
3, SAMSUNG LE32R87BDX/XEU (around £650, maybe a bit cheaper)
Any views would be much appreciated.
As a side issue I was originally going to go for a CRT but I am right not to aren't I?
Thanks
I'm sure the R8 is MUCH cheaper than that like around £550 or so.
I'm still trying to decide between getting a 26" or a 32" for my room, part of me thinks 32" may be a bit big but then I think that I want a big TV hmmm
I am in a similar position for my living room. I don't want a huge tv that is all you see when you walk in but I don't know if it would be a bit of a let down watching films on 26".
It is hard to judge as we only have a 14" tv at the minute so anything will be an improvement, just not sure how big is big enough.

Did you have any tv in mind?
Yeah i've got a 17" atm so I don't really know, when i see 26" in the shops i think it looks small but my room isn't the biggest. I'm thinking I'll probably go for the 32" cos I would rather it was slightly too big than being disappointed with how small it is.
I haven't used Freeview because I have Sky. SD stuff looks great. Obviously if you're up close to the screen it doesn't look that brilliant, but if you're a proper viewing distance away (and have set your picture settings up) it looks superb.
There's a lot of talk on the AVForums thread about 'buzzing', mine certainly doesn't buzz.
This is pushing me further towards the Panasonic 32". The hardest thing is getting honest, informative advice. We spent ages yesterday going from high street shop to high street shop asking the sales people for advice and got told a different thing every time.
I saw that buzz talk but most of it required the set to be on mute? Not often I do that when watching TV.....
I am hoping a new TV will be the helping hand I need to convinve the girlfriend that we NEED Sky.

I had the same problem but go for a 32", my room is tiny and it looks awesome. Especially the 360.
