Couldn't be arsed tbh. If you've got £400 spare, surely there'smore you could be doing with it than buying a 'tide over' TV?

The R7 version is still more expensive than the R8 version weirdly. Unless Dixons have it at a really cheap price

I could get the 32" R7 for about £530 in Costco a few weeks ago thats including a 3year warranty as well.

I went home at the weekend and saw my Dad's 42" PX70 for the first time.

My god, the TV is absolutely brilliant. I loved it so much I've been debating getting one. Even though I can't afford one.

How reliable are the Samsungs? I'm tempted to get the R8 but if i throw the extra warranty on it, then its out of my price range, but obviously I don't wanna spend a load of money and then the TV to break after a year or so.
