You will probably need external speakers. The ones in the TV arent very powerful (worse than mine, and i can quite comfortably play mine max volume)

Yeah would be fine for that, but stuff like music channels it wouldnt be loud enough.

What size room are you having it in?

Well are living room is like 2 rooms knocked into one, so I'm just having it in here, complete opposite end to main TV.

Could someone please tell me do you HAVE to buy a 42inch TV to get the very best pic the 1080p?

Is there a huge difference between the picture quality of say the one Billy is going for and that creamlicious panansonic?

Also is 1080i as ropey as i hear? I was told that it traces really bad on games and that 1080p is the only way to go if your gonna notch it up that high.

1080p is the best, but HD DVD's via the 360, Sky HD etc dont support 1080p yet. From what ive read its not worth spending extra to get it
