| Andy,
This is one I bought: 32" N series
It is the same price as I paid - ie £670 (with delivery) and is still in stock.

Seriously, do not buy that TV. tbf, I think you'd be hard pressed to get a decent 42" LCD TV for £600. </BLOCKQUOTE>
hmm well maybe 37' or something around that size. do you have any advice?
and is the general consensus that plasma > lcd? </BLOCKQUOTE>
I would advise looking at a 37" Samsung LCD. Cant go wrong at that price. the higher spec/price would be a panasonic for anything over 40"

If you're looking in a few months time, bear in mind that most manufacturers will have new models out by then.

Well my Sony Bravia 32 inch arrived yesterday and I have to say it was stunning. Didnt expect to be so blown away by it
Setting it up is very easy. All the channels on freeview were detected quickly. I setup my xbox 360 and it looks AWESOME!
Only down side at the moment I would say is im sitting alittle to close to the television as it can look alittle blurry showing the footie. Still need to tweak the picture alittle I think though
For the xbox 360 though its just instantly perfect. Sound quality is also fantastic I only had it set to about 20 and was running about on saints row blasting people away and smashing into cars and it sounded fantastic.

My 37" Hannspree should arrive today. Bit concerned regarding it's ability to display 50Hz correctly as described in the AV forums but I'm willing to give it a chance. Basically, if it sucks then I'll send it back and save for another few months to get a more expensive set. If it works fine then I'm laughing!
