Right help me out please, my mum wants to buy a new TV for the living room, and the quicker she finds one I can get the old one (still pretty good) hd ready one for my 360. So it has to be 42 inch (or bigger) and if possible about 800 quid or less (which im doubting but shes an optimist)
cheers

Seriously, do not buy that TV. tbf, I think you'd be hard pressed to get a decent 42" LCD TV for £600.

Rep Power: 0 | The R8 is meant to be the latest series but the price doesn't quite seem right.
To give you a comparison.
I bought an 'N' series from Beyond Television for £670 and the normal retail high street price is £995 (Currys).
If this is the latest model, I don't enough about it to know why the price is cheaper than the previous model.
Normally when a new model comes out, they try to maximise the price for a while.

| You won't find a better 42" than this. 37" slightly cheaper. |
