yeah i did. it's crazy though. had the tv in the room below that one on that same chimney breast and it picked up zero freeview. move it into my room directly above and pick up everything. freeview absolutely immense.

What differences did you find?

At the moment I'm tempted by the X simply because it will look better in our living room. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Fair enough if it looks better but considering the size of it, surely it won't make much difference?

The X and W are very very similar, with the X having an output which is supposed to be a smidge better (EX output). However it's just not worth the extra cost, as quite frankly I just couldn't see a difference.

However is cash is no issue, then just ignore my statement and get the X. The W is just much more cost effective.

Here is my setup lads!

Wires are a mess I know - when I get my Sky HD box and get that all wired up to my TV & HTPC I am going to sort them out good and proper!

Panasonic TH37PX60 Plasma
Panasonic SC-HT855 Home Cinema
Sky Digibox (Sky HD being installed next week)
Home Theatre PC in Antec Fusion Case, based on the Abit IL-90MV Motherboard with HDMI output

Ok folks, i'm looking for a 42 inch LCD/Plasma, quality and being future proof over price.

I had a look at this one as a quality set going by specs alone, but I dont know much about the significance of some of them.

Finally went into a shop to see the W (sadly they didn't have the X), the picture was superb. The Mrs. then says 'could we get a bigger one?' \o/

Planning on spending £1900 on the 46" W.

Thinking of buying one of these.

Does anyone know of another other similar products (preferably Sony) that have:

5 speakers
HDMI connection
Optical connection
DVD player included

I know of the Panasonic SCHT855, but what else is there?
