Is it true you have to "break in" plasma TV's? Was reading on the highdef forum that your meant to leave it on for x amount of time, to allow the gases in them to warm up for optimum picture
To get the most from your set, try and get your hands on the Avia Audio Visual set up dvd. Some interesting information on there, as well as a corking set of set up excercises. It's amazing the difference a properly set up tv makes to the picture.
Apparently the most common mistake is setting the brightness too high.
I suppose at a push, I could lend you mine. That's if you're interested.
Can you get image burn with LCD aswell. Just reading the manual it says its more likely when using the PC Input port to play a console for example (which i will be doing)

best place online to order from? for reliability and customer services etc? (this is in general for an lcd or plasma i am looking to buy, about £650 limit)

I bought all my kit from www.av-sales.co.uk . Not had any problems with it, so I have no first hand experience of their after-care, but they are always around on the AV forums, so they can't have anything to hide.
