Well, we'll cover that when we sell Raffa at the end of the season. Still, he seems good! Always a risk when you sign a player, especially one so young, but it's the way the world is going now.

Got tortured by hailstones at Aachen this sunday. But won 2-1 so couldn't care much about that. Especiallt because we were second best all game. Went in front after 6 minutes when Milchraum blasted home , a goal he never intended. He sprinted towards the ball with a 'Lautern player comming from the other side, Milchraum won it on the corner of the box and just shot it into the bottom of the goal. While 'Lautern kept missing chances we got a penalty from miss Bibiana and Plaßhenrich didn't miss. That was the sign for God to unleash hell at Tivoli. But it does bring nice pictures. Kaiserslautern did score in injurytime but unlike the games against Jena and Hoffenheim we hang on to win it.

Bild newspaper: Bayern pay 14 million to secure Breno of Sao Paolo
Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich have agreed to pay newly-crowned Brazilian league champions Sao Paulo 14 million euros (20.5 million dollars) for 18-year-old Vinicius Rodrigues Borges, known as Breno, Germany's Bild newspaper reported Friday.
The fee makes Breno the second most expensive signing in the club's history after France international Franck Ribery, who joined Bayern last summer from Marseille for 25 million euros, and dearer than strikers Luca Toni (11 million) and Miroslav Klose (12 million).
According to Bild, the highly rated defender, who has also been linked to Real Madrid, AC Milan and Juventus, will join Bayern during the winter transfer window making him available for selection in the second half of the season.
Bayern refused to comment on the report.
| That is insane money.

14 million for Breno will be a great business for Bayern. Breno is likely to become Brazil's nat'l team central defender for a long time.

I wouldn't trust the "Bild" as a source, it's equivalent to the Sun. The reputable "kicker" magazine says the deal isn't final yet, and the 14 million would just be an estimate.

They also mention that Sao Paulo are still trying to keep Breno until the Summer so that he can play in the Libertadores. To be honest, it would make sense for Bayern to agree to that, given that it's a risk trying to integrate a 18yr old Brazilian into a functioning lineup during the season.

It also makes sense from a São Paulo point of view and it matches what SPFC's board has been saying about Breno's potential transfer to Europe.
