Ah frick - after checking wikipedia, the info that it takes usb keys has been taken down. Just after me buying a 2GB one instead of a 2GB SD card.

I don't think you have a problem... </BLOCKQUOTE>I realised that but for a while there I thought that the usb ports might just be used for just add-ons like a microphone, or something to that effect, a la the PS2 (where one had to buy a maxdrive).

I've pre-ordered via Play, not bothered bout getting it on day of release just need it before Christmas, does this sound like a good move or should I cancel and go elsewhere?

The USB ports may well be used for added peripherals but currently they are there for added memory as far as I know. So you could buy a USB hard-drive to go with the 512mb flash memory.

Play usually give their pre-orders to their best customers...

So unless your a loyal customer of Play you could be waiting till after Christmas for a Wii dependsing on how many they recieve.

Honestly...just go down Woolworths on the day of release...or just go now and get one pre-ordered for yourself.

seen the video on ign for the nfl game using the wiimote, looks interesting and made me wonder how are konami gonna use the wiimote to play wii-pes (in development) and those anybody know if the stats that ign are reporting are confirmed or guess at?

red steel looks better every time new screens come out and am looking forward to 'grappling' with zee germens
