Reason I ask about importing is because the import machines will display the graphics a 480p which means it is a progresive picture which makes it slighlty better.

| why wouldnt the pal console run at 480p? i thought you just needed a hdtv to be able to run at 480p

I pre-ordered from Game yesterday and was told you can play gamecube games on the wii and that you can download megadrive, snes and gamecube games or free. Is this true?

tony, yes you can play all gamecube games on it.
you can also download (for a price) nes, snes, n64 amongst other old school consoles games to play on the machine.

| Not really. I know it is not HD and it takes SD memory cards but I like Nintendo and I like the look of the sports game and I like zelda.
