And you'll have to import Zelda if you want it on the GC, but no doubt you know that. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Why would i want it on the gamecube ? </BLOCKQUOTE>
I think he is referring to my decision to pre-order Zelda for my GC, rather than shell out for a new system. </BLOCKQUOTE>
I thought you'd pre ordered a Wii anyway </BLOCKQUOTE>
Me, no, I've said in this thread why I haven't gone for it.

Well. The N64 had one stick and 4 buttons. This has two sticks. I'd imagine the right stick would replace the c-buttons? Just a guess.

Dear Martin,
We’re writing to you with great news! You will be able to pre-order the Nintendo Wii from any HMV store or online at hmv.co.uk as of tomorrow morning, Saturday 16th September from 10am onwards !
Unfortunately we were unable to give you 48 hours prior notice due to Nintendo's shock announcement.
Featuring some of the most exciting, unique games ever seen, a totally innovative controller and access to a vast Nintendo back catalogue of games spanning over 25 years, Nintendo Wii is certain to change the world of gaming forever when it's released on December 8th 2006!* The console is being sold as a bundle and will cost £179.99*, this price includes the Wii remote, the nunchuck controller and a copy of the game 'Wii Sports'. The console is certain to be greeted with huge demand, so be certain to make your way to your nearest HMV on Monday morning, or pre-order online at hmv.co.uk so that you don't miss out on the games console that EVERYONE's been talking about!

| Precisely, it's baffling tbh.
The 360 is a modified xbox, right down to Live. Basically more power and HD. Same with PS2/PS3.
The Wii is actually a completely different concept.
Seems like a fairly clueless view, but each to their own eh?

I'm debating where to pre-order. Leaning towards Gamestation atm.
Might go down in t'morning. Hopefully the required deposit isn't too much.

My PS2 covers all my 'normal' games (PES will be no different on next gen for at the very least a year), and my new wage will come through at the end of October, so it's perfect timing for it.
It's like they planned it.........
