wilson ffs, yes its essentially an upgraded gc. we're also getting internal storage, classic games on virtual console, nifty wii-mote/nun-chuck, upgraded graphics and gameplay due to extra power, 'wii channels' amongst other stuff, fine, if you think its just a gc with a new controller but imo its not and is well worth the value. we don't need you saying every other post that its just a gc with a new controller.

And to clarify an earlier question, the 'modified GameCube' stuff is utter balls. Wii is about four times as powerful (in general) as a GameCube, and that's taking into account the fact that Nintendo usually say their machines are less powerful rather than more powerful (check the 'Cube launch). Apparently, unless a machine supports HD, it's exactly the same as the old console.

Pretty much same ******** Stephen Wilson was spouting about it being a modifield gamecube and too expensive.
it is, sorry
And you'll have to import Zelda if you want it on the GC, but no doubt you know that. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Why would i want it on the gamecube ? </BLOCKQUOTE>
I think he is referring to my decision to pre-order Zelda for my GC, rather than shell out for a new system. </BLOCKQUOTE>
