If that happened (unlikely seeing as the source is argos ffs, gaming insiders that they are) Id just buy a 360 and not bother with the wii as id be pretty ****ed off at once again europe being treated like ****.

I personally doubt it...

Nintendo are making available 4m Wii units before the end of 2006...and another 6m by March 2007. A total of 10m by March.

I'm sure there is more then enough units to satisfy both Japan and US as well as Europe for 2006...

France's Figaro has reported this morning that launch will be in December, at a price of €250. That date and price makes sense, and would be similar to the way the story was leaked in a New York daily before yesterday's US conference.

metro took the japanese price (which doesn't come with wii sports) and converted it without tax. Thats how they got that low price. It won't be that low.
