This is the first console that i have been REALLY excited about getting! I got a Dreamcast and a PS2 on day of release but i can never remember being as excited as i am about this console. Consoles for me have just got boring at the moment, games over nothing new and i get bored within 30 minutes of a game. Yet i can go back and play Cannon Fodder or SWOS from the 90's and i will be hooked for hours!
Really looking forward to the Wii, i can tell Novemeber is going to be an expensive month with car insurance and a Wii + loads of games to fork out for  |

It was gonna be £150 but Microsoft announced a £100 drop in the xbox price

anything £150 or below will sell really well imo, i think games will be £39.99 or maybe £34.99.
can't wait til i can get one now, no where is doing pre-orders yet though, got my email in play.com, amazon.co.uk and gameplay.co.uk so they will notify me when they start pre-orders | |

This will def be at the top of my list ( if only for the back catalogue )....however, I'd really need to see the launch line up to see just how good it'd be.
PS3 just doesnt have anything my 360 wont already do.

Japanese game software and console maker Nintendo Co. said on Wednesday it sees little impact on its profit from sales of its new Wii console.
Nintendo has said it expected to sell 6 million Wii consoles in the year to next March and 17 million units of Wii software.
Company president Satoru Iwata told a briefing on Wednesday that even if the company meets those targets, it expects little contribution to profit.
| Looks like the Wii will be priced so cheaply that Nintendo won't profit all that much from the sale of the console and software. 6m consoles sold by March 2007 and 17m software sales by then too...a tie-in ration of 2.8 games sold per console or rounded up 3 games per console sold.
