Btw...The Wii-mote is rumoured to have VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) i.e a microphone so you can chat to your friends while playing multi-player over the internet. As we all know there is already a speaker in the Wii-Mote.

Another rumour is it has memory in it to allow for different people to have their own personal-settings when you or others use the Wii-mote. So you can store sensitivity for Metroid for example on the Wii-mote or store your friends "Connect24" code i.e the Freinds code for the Wii console...or you could store your face in Wii-Sport for the Tennis game. Which brings up another rumour...

Nintendo are said to have a camera which could/will be used so people can put their faces in a game such as Wii-Tennis game. As some of you saw...when the executives played on-stage during the conference their faces were in the game.

anyone know if its region free? No doubt America/Japan will get it before us and i really cant wait to get my hands on one so maybe worth importing if its region free.

About launch...Nintendo have always said they are aiming for a world-wide launch of the Wii...

The launch period is said to be either September or October so they come out before the PS3. I think they are worried that people will spend £425 + games and accessories on a PS3 and have nothing left over for a Wii...

i dont care how good a ps3 is, you must be off your head to pay out £425 for a games console! £200 is the most i would spend. Nintendo have gone the right way about this selling it cheaply. Its going to appeal to parents who want to get there child a new computer and many teenagers arent going to have 400 quid plus floating about.

When is Wii released? I dont care about the Playstation 3 because I can't think of any excusive titles the machine has that I would want.
